At the recent Nasscom Annual Technology Conference 2023, Guru Nanak College (Autonomous) Chennai was awarded for achieving one of the highest number of Nasscom certifications towards building India as a ‘digital talent Nation’ with its IT skilling programmes with Future Skills Prime(Meity Nasscom Digital Skilling initiative). The award was received by Mr. Manjit Singh Nayar, General Secretary and Correspondent in the presence of Dr. Marlene Morais, Advisor, Dr. Swati Paliwal, Head, Guru Nanak Centre for Consultancy and Outreach initiatives, Dr. R.Anand, Dean, and Dr. M. Kavitha, Deputy Dean, Guru Nanak Centre for Skill Development and Mr. Udaya Shankar, Lead-Academia at Scale, Government Initiatives IT-ITeS SSC nasscom.. This award was presented by Ms. Kirti Seth, CEO of NASSCOM, Future Skills Prime and Mr. Manmeet Singh, CEO-VS Global at First Meridian Business Services.
