Deepika Mekala daughter of renowned mathematics teacher Mr Srinivasa Reddy and Mrs Lakshmi was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. I have completed by masters in pharmaceutics with 91% and secured college rank from JNTU kakinada. During my childhood, Iam keen towards math and science as I had a tremendous support and encouragement from my parents.
I have attended many state and national math competitions, workshops, quizzes and lot more. Though I have much interest in math, Iam equally interested to serve the diseased people which made me chose pharmacy. During my study, I have attended various conferences and that laid a strong foundation for my thesis work.
I worked in a formulation research and development in Dr Reddys laboratories which helped me in shaping my career. During the study, I have tested the stability of nanosuspensions. I worked as an assistant managing editor and for scientific journals where I came to know that I had a wide scope as a content writer. It was in my school that laid foundation for teaching kids, I also worked as an assistant professor in a pharmacy college and during the Covid, I pursued the career as a full time. I am certified international math trainer, rubic cube and Vedic math trainer.
l trained more than 50 kids from all over the globe and 25 teachers who made their career in Vedic math. Vedic math is an essential subject for every kid that needs to be a part in the curriculum. It improves concentration and accuracy in solving math problems. So I recommend this for every kid. Every kid is special it’s very essential for kids to do mental exercise so it improves their logical reasoning and mental ability.
Before teaching, I taught my kid Vikhyat to learn mental math which made him win many world records including Guinness world record. Teaching is not only my passion but it’s a hobby and so I still continue to teach math for kids. With the support of my husband Mr Hari Krishna Reddy, I am now working in sterile formulation in Australia. I thank my family, sister for their constant support and cooperation.
