The 47th Graduation Day of Guru Nanak College (Autonomous), Chennai is being conducted in a grandiose manner as a two-day ceremony on the 12th and 13th of May2023.The Graduation Ceremony for Batch I (Government Aided Stream) and Batch II, Batch III Self-Financed (Shift II).
Dr. Atulya Mishra, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Government Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu was the Chief Guest for the morning session.The afternoon session was graced with the presence of Mr. Ishvinder Singh, India Lead – NetAcad & Skills, Social Innovation Group, CISCO.
The chief guest for the occasion was Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, Institute Professor, IIT Madras, motivated the students by sharing how learning is a life-long process, and that every experience in life teaches us a new lesson.
Mr. Manjith Singh Nayar initiated the Graduation Ceremony. The Annual Report of the College was presented by the Principal Dr. M. G. Ragunathan. Over the course of these two days, 2135 graduates are receiving their degree certificates, out of which 96 rank holders are being awarded their medals and certificates. The management, staff, and parents of the graduates attended the grand ceremony.
